More Reason #1.......Friends are what it's all about..

I began riding mountain bikes back around 1996. I spent the next few years really getting into the sport. Back then I rode with two main guys, Bobby Capers and Keith Walker. We spent several years camping and riding bikes all over Tennesse, Georgia, and North Carolina. I also raced bikes for Biker's Choice which is a great bike shop in Hendersonville, TN. I was able to get a lot of help from David Hardin and his employees as well as other people on the bike team. In 2000 my first girl was born and biking became something I only got to do with what little spare time I had. In mid 2007 I began biking again when my two girls were both in school and I became a stay at home dad. I rode for a while with neighborhood friends and a lot of the time alone. In late 2007 I entered my first local race in 7 years, met a few new people, found the NMB message board, and boom I was back into it big time. I met so many cool people in 2008 and had such a good time with all of them that I can't wait to continue it in 2009.
